Looking Back: The Columns
Longtime administrator, former Indiana Daily Student editor and alumna Marjorie Smith Blewett (BA '48) writes a column for the alumni magazine, Newswire, in which she relies on several decades of her own experiences at the school, her archives and her spot-on institutional knowledge to reminisce with readers. She's written about women editors-in-chief of the Daily Student, described treasure troves found in alumni basements and retold many stories about professors both feared and revered (often simultaneously).- Read "From the Stempels' porch to the present, centennial celebration was the best" (spring 2012).
