Master’s Degree: One Year Plan

Many people who wish to pursue master’s degrees are working professionals or others who cannot devote many months to the pursuit of the M.A. To satisfy the need for a shorter path to the degree, the School of Journalism offers a one-year plan.
This allows students to take classes year round and complete coursework in 12 months instead of several semesters. The course requirements are the same, but students may work with advisers to outline a plan that will meet the requirements and their own demanding lifestyles.
