Emily Hampton
Biography
Emily Hampton, a native of New Harmony, Ind., is pursuing a master's degree in the School of Journalism. She completed her bachelor's degree in journalism from Indiana University in May of 2009. She also concentrated in atmospheric science and gender studies during her undergraduate career.
While at Indiana University, Emily worked for the Indiana Daily Student and Indiana University Student Television. At her time with IUSTV, she worked as a news reporter, weather reporter and eventually news producer for i-Student News. She also interned at 14WFIE, the NBC-affiliate in Evansville, Ind.
Emily hopes to work either in television news broadcasting or public relations after she graduates in 2010. She currently lives in Bloomington with her husband, Brad, and their dog, Tycen.
