Biography

Craig Wood’s career in the advertising and public relations industry has spanned 35 years during which he has provided strategic communication, advertising and public relations counsel to some the world’s leading corporations and brands. Wood began his career with Alcoa as an international marketing analyst for Europe, Latin America and Africa. He was a founder and managing partner of Wood, Cohen, Leonard, & Bush, a highly awarded corporate, financial and marketing communications firm whose clients included Nokia, Chase Bank, Hyatt Resorts, George Steinbrenner, and former Florida Governor and Senator Bob Graham.
In 1994, Wood joined Saatchi & Saatchi’s Rumrill-Hoyt advertising agency in New York as executive vice president. He served as worldwide account director for the agency’s largest client, DuPont. In 1996, led the agency’s rebranding to Saatchi & Saatchi Business Communications to reflect its specialization in global business-to-business communications, and he was also named Chief Operating Officer of Saatchi & Saatchi/Rowland, an integrated, business-to-business, global communications network.
Craig also served as managing director at New York’s Niehaus Ryan Wong, the agency that launched Yahoo and represented Apple and Pixar. As managing director of FitzGerald Communications in New York, Wood counseled Sirius Satellite Radio and led the PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting client relationship. He was of counsel to Euro/RSCG Magnet and a senior officer at GolinHarris.
Wood received a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University and a Master of Science from Montana State University.
Wood is the recipient of numerous awards for his client work in advertising and public relations including the One Show, Clio, ADDY, ANDY, Sabre, and the IABC Golden Quill Award.
