The “School of Journalism family” gathered under red and white balloons in Alumni Hall Saturday to celebrate this year’s scholarship winners. During his opening remarks, Dean Brad Hamm said Scholarship Day is one of his favorites because it’s a chance to recognize the people who make the school what it is.

Pulitzer Prize-winning alumnus Tom French visits the School of Journalism Saturday to give the keynote speech at the Society of Professional Journalists’ Region 5 conference.

Students in the School of Journalism have heard a lot about the convergence of news media this year from professors and guest speakers alike. They heard more about it Friday at the Spring Photojournalism Seminar.
